Training & Education Providers

Are your apprentices struggling to keep up? We are all unique, and not everyone learns in the same way. In fact, statistically 1 in 5 of your apprentices may have an additional learning need – maybe a struggle to stay focused, being organised, speaking to a team or just a sense of overwhelm.

Support Connect exists to help the apprentice, their trainer provider and employer to be aware of the effects of these learning needs and differences and to put into place the help, methods and techniques to facilitate the best possible learning experience. In short – to help your apprentices to succeed.

What support can we offer?

Our learning support teams provide highly specialised, individually tailored learning and mental health support services to SEND learners who face barriers to their learning created by a learning difficulty or disability. This could include dyslexia, dyspraxia, AD(H)D, autistic spectrum conditions, mobility and dexterity difficulties, sensory impairment, mental health difficulties and long-term medical conditions.

SEND learners may have a Statement of Educational Needs (SENs), Learning Difficulty Assessments (LDAs), or Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). They may also have a formal diagnosis of a learning difficulty or disability. However, many more learners have an undiagnosed learning need (LN) and we support them in getting suitable assessment of these needs.

If you have apprentices you desire to support further or would simply like to know more, please get intouch.
